We’ve designed Montage to be “automagic”. Many Montage Creators go from start to finish without changing any settings! That said, if you’d like to change any of the Montage settings you can do so at any time after you’ve started it - just head to the Settings page of your Creator’s Dashboard.
From the Montage Settings page, you can do things like:
The Settings page is a sub-page of the Creator’s Dashboard. Only the creator (i.e. organizer) of the Montage can access this page.
Once you’re on the Creator’s Dashboard, then…
On a computer: Click on the “Settings” tab on the navigation bar near the top of the page.
On a phone/tablet: Tap on the menu icon in the top right of the screen, then tap “Montage Settings”
Simple scenario: after creating the Montage, you come up with an amazing idea for a prompt that will pique everyone’s creativity. How do you add that prompt to your Montage?
Easy! You can press the “Add / Edit Prompts” button from your Settings page, which takes you to a very familiar screen — from the Montage Creation page. Once you’re done editing, click “done”. Your changes will be saved and visible on the Prompts page.
Montaging is more fun when it’s a team sport. That’s why we built a Co-Creators option.
Only the original Creator can add/remove Co-Creators.
You can add up to four Co-Creators to help you manage the Montage. Co-Creators can access all the Creators Dashboard pages. They can help you invite people, add photos, send Nudges / reminders, and more. It’s totally optional, but Co-Creators can also help you pay for the Montage by splitting the bill evenly, or paying for the whole thing.
You can invite someone to be a Co-Creator by sharing a special invitation link with them, found on the Settings page of your Creator’s Dashboard.
Dashboard > Settings > Co-Creators
Once your Co-Creator has opened their special Co-Creator Link, then from then on they will be able to access all pages of the Creator’s Dashboard. Their name will also show up in one of the Co-Creator slots on the Settings page (above) .
Only the original Creator can add/remove Co-Creators.
If your Co-Creator link is shared with someone you didn’t mean to invite, you can always return to this page to remove them:
Dashboard > Settings > Add/Remove Co-Creators
If you need to extend the deadline or compile your Montage earlier than expected, you can change your Montage Deadline from your Settings page.
Changing the Montage Deadline will re-schedule the 72-hour and 24-hour auto-reminders to all invitees, if necessary.
You’ll also have the option of sending a notification of the deadline change to all Invitees or Invitees who haven’t contributed yet.
If you need to end the Montage immediately (to compile ASAP), press the “End the Montage” button and confirm.
The headshot photo is displayed on the Invitation page, as well as on the background of the Prompts page and in the final Montage video. You can change this photo at any time from your Settings page.
