How much does a Montage cost?

How does Montage pricing work?

We offer these services for free:

Creating the Montage’s public pages (invitation, prompts, etc)
Sending unlimited invitations and reminders (via email, FB, SMS)
Collecting unlimited videos and photos
Editing tools for videos (including video ordering, video trimming, and soundtrack silence)

Once your Montage ends, we charge $29 to unlock the following features:

Compiling the final Montage with our automatic video editor with up to 100 videos (see next section for 100+ video policy)
Changing things around and re-compiling the Montage as many times as you see fit
Creating a special viewing page for the recipient to watch their gift
Delivering the Montage in a beautiful email with a custom note (or via a link, or in-person)
Collecting, editing, and publishing the recipient’s Reaction Video after they finish watching
Sending you and the recipient special download links to save the mp4 files for safe-keeping

Large-Scale and/or Corporate Montages

If your Montage ends up having over 100 videos, then we will automatically

Bow our head to your success and popularity
Charge an additional $1 per video to cover the extra processing/storage costs.
(e.g. 103 videos = $3 extra)

If you intend to use Montage at high-scale (e.g. corporate events, school campaigns, fundraisers, etc.) then please contact us via email as we can usually provide package discount options.

Splitting the Bill with Co-Creators

With Montage Co-Creators, you can choose up to four friends to help you manage the Montage (invite people, add photos, etc.). The main purpose of Co-Creators is to have people help you spread the word. If you want, you can also split the cost of the Montage amongst your fellow co-creators. (Splitting the bill is totally optional.)

If do you decide to split the bill, then our payment system will automatically split the price for you and allow each co-creator to pay a portion.

Upgrades & Add-Ons

Upgrade to HD

In September 2020 we decided to remove the option of upgrading to HD video quality for a fee, and make it the default instead. Now we only offer Montages in HD (woohoo!). The quality upgrade will be applied automatically to every Montage started after September 2020, free of charge.

Photocard Keepsake, $9

Help them cherish the feeling forever with a 4x6 photo card showing everyone who was in the Montage
Write a personal note on the back
They can instantly open the Montage on any smartphone by pointing their camera at the QR code (no app required)
Send it as a postcard straight to their doorstep or send it to yourself and deliver in-person
To order a Photocard for a Montage you’ve created, first find the Montage on your My Montages page, go to the Creator’s Dashboard, and navigate to the Gift Shop page.
