How to Delete Your Montage Account

We understand. Even good things in life don’t last forever.

If you’d like to remove yourself from our platform for any reason, or you’d just like to start anew with a fresh Montage account - just head to your Montage Account page, and hit the “Delete My Account” button at the bottom of the page.

Some important notes:

  • This will wipe out all of your previous Montage history (e.g. You will no longer be able to login and find Montages you’ve participated in, videos you’ve submitted, etc.).

  • If you are the Creator of a Montage, deleting your account will essentially delete the Montage. So if anyone tries to open a link to that Montage (e.g. people you’ve invited, the recipient, etc.) they will get an error message saying it does not exist.

If you’ve accidentally deleted your account and wish to re-activate it, please contact us by email.


How to Unsubscribe from Montage Emails

At the bottom of every email we send (with the exception of payment confirmations and account security messages) there is a link to Unsubscribe from all future Montage emails. Just hit that baby and you’re all set.

This will remove you from all future emails about that specific person’s Montage (the one the email was about where you clicked the unsubscribe link), AND any other active Montages you are participating in, as well as any general communications from us in the future.

If you’ve accidentally unsubscribed and wish to undo this, please contact us by email.


How to Permanently Delete All Your Data from Montage

Both of the above actions are technically impermanent so that they can be reversed if someone does them on accident. If you’d like all of your Montage data to be permanently and irreversibly deleted from our database, just contact us by email and say so. (We won’t take it personally.)

We’ll do our best to have you wiped from the Montage history books within 48 hours.
