Yes! Whether you’re the creator of the Montage, or just a contributor, you can always add someone else’s video to the Montage for them.
In fact, this is encouraged! If you know someone who’s having trouble adding their video to the Montage - this is the easiest solution and the fastest way to help them.
First, have them send their video to you via text message, email, Facebook Messenger, Whatsapp, etc.
Once you have their video saved on your device, go to the Prompts page, and upload their video the same way you would for your own video.
If you’re the creator of the Montage, you can add their video directly from the Videos page by clicking on one of the “+” buttons in the video grid.
Don’t worry about this. The fact that the video is submitted under your account has no impact on the final Montage. It will not have your name on it.
In the final Montage there is no labeling of who submitted which video. There is no “credits” reel at the end.
It won’t make any difference to the recipient whether you added someone’s video for them, or they added it themselves. The recipient will know who made the video when they see their face in the Montage!
Nope. Each Montage has it’s own recommended limits in terms of maximum video length and maximum number of videos per person, but these are just suggestions - not rules. The person who’s organizing the Montage chose these suggested limits for a reason, and we highly recommend you follow them! However, if you’re other people’s videos for them, then please feel free to add as many as you’d like.
